Players to look out for in IPL 2020

Since the government has given its approval to take the IPL edition 2020 to UAE. people are very curious to see their favorite players play in the field. With the dates been released and the first games is to be played on sep. 19 everyone is waiting for the el-classico of cricket world the MI vs CSK clash. With the emergence of new players in this season spectators have eyes on the following players as they expect them to perform to their best.

Pat Cummins

The very first player that comes to the mind after this year’s auction is Pat cummins. He was picked by KKR for whooping Rs. 15.5 crore and the franchise will be expecting a lot from him. After having a tremendous 2018-19 year in the world of cricket it will be expected from him to continue the same performance in the 2020 IPL edition and provide balance to KKR in the bowling.

Glenn Maxwell

The second player which was sold for Rs. 10.75 crore to KXIP was Maxwell and he has returned to this side and is familiar with the atmosphere of this club. When last time the IPL was taken to UAE during year 2014 due to elections, Punjab side won 5/5 matches and maxwell played a very crucial role in balancing the team and became the core of the team. This was the same year when KXIP made it to the finals. So the hopes on Glenn will be too high from the side as well as fans.

Chris Morris

As always RCB side has shown their more interest in the overseas player and have put a lot of money on this South African player. Chris Moriis had a great IPL season last year and he is very promising all-rounder. As RCB already has huge number of foreign player it will be tough for them to fit Morris into their squad. This side already rely heavily on ABD Moeen Dale with only one spot left for the overseas it will be fun to watch who wins the race to get into playing 11, Morris or finch.

Sheldon Cottrell

This is another pick by KXIP for which they paid Rs. 8.5 crore. Death bowling has always been an issue for KXIP and it has been noticed that this side mostly counts on their batsmen, to get that bowling department a bit of balanced cottrell has been bought and it will be expected that he will deliver his best performance. With the availability of shami and cottrell their death bowling looks in a better condition than before.

Apart from these players on whom people will be eyeing are Eoin morgan, Nathan Coulter-Nile and sam curran. As the pitches in UAE are batting friendly and the grounds are small it will be very tough for the bowlers to put on the show and win the games for their respective teams. With the time remaining less than a month now it will be interesting to see how all the players mold them according to the conditions and play to their best.
